You are warmly invited to become a Member or Shareholder of Borderlands Cooperative.
All members and shareholders of the Co-operative are required to be active. Active membership constitutes payments of annual fee. Shareholders need to participate in at least one activity each financial year such as meetings, use of the space or other resources of the Co-operative, or make a donation to further the activity of the Co-operative. Members and shareholders will receive the Borderlands Newsletter four times a year; be eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors, and vote at the Annual General Meeting. These are all forms of active membership and help to finance the activities of the Co-operative.
Of course, most importantly, as a member you can play an active part in the work of Borderlands: engaging in community, social and international development, ecological sustainability, social justice and participatory approaches to research and evaluation.
