Saturday December 14, from 3pm. Harris Reserve, Seddon (Cnr Gamon & Thomson St)
There are so many people in our community who care about human rights and justice. And we’d love to meet you! Come along to our community picnic.
If you’re a city of Maribyrnong resident or live in the inner west and want to get involved in local actions for Palestine and Lebanon, then this will be great way to start. It’s an opportunity to discuss how the Palestinian plight intersects with other struggles for liberation against oppression.
It’ll be a casual event, where you can meet and connect with other people in the local community who are speaking up and taking action for Palestine.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to:
- Connect: Meet others who are taking action for Palestine.
- Learn: Ask questions and find out how you can get involved.
- Get creative: We’ll be making signs, banners and badges.
- Collaborate: Pick up resources and share ideas.
Maribyrnong for Palestine is a grassroots action group organising in Maribyrnong. We live and organise on the unceded lands of the Kulin Nation. We meet fortnightly at Borderlands Cooperative, 30A Pickett St, Footscray. Email us at: maribyrnong4palestine@gmail.com
