From Housing Crisis to Dwelling Justice

·

You’re warmly invited to From Housing Crisis to Dwelling Justice, a free public event bringing together community members and advocates to reflect on the state of housing justice in Naarm/Melbourne and beyond. The evening will feature the premiere screening of Bay Views for All, a powerful new documentary following the renewal of the Barak Beacon Boulevard estate in Port Melbourne.

After the screening, join us for a panel discussion unpacking the ‘right to housing’ and the current state of the dwelling justice movement, featuring public housing residents and representatives from the Housing for the Aged Action Group, 44 Flats United, and the Homeless Persons Union of Victoria. This is an opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to urgent conversations about housing and land justice at a time of escalating crisis.
